Carlos and I have known one another for about 14 years. We have a mutual friend Alex who lived next to me for some time. We'd both been in relationships over the years, but when Alex and Amy were married in Kaui, that is when the spark began. We saw each other now and again, and then we evolved into something much deeper and stronger! I moved in with Carlos November of 2008. We would talk of marriage, but knew we needed to be financially secure before that could happen, but who is really ever ready financially so, Carlos proposed to me on my birthday trip to Maui on Sept. 26th, 2009 We were staying in Hana, and we walked out to a pier and he got on one knee and with tears in his eyes he asked me to be his wife. Of course I said yes after I saw the ring!! Ha Ha! Then the rain started to come down(very rainy in Hana) We went running in the rain, very romantic!! We then had another whole week in Maui with our friends Kim and Scott and celebrated our happiness!! Now we have started the planning of the wedding, very exciting and stressful at times, but we know how blessed we are to have found each other, and to begin out lives as Husband and Wife!!
Our Wedding will be on September 18th 2010. The glorious event will be at an undisclosed location in El Cajon. The wedding will start at 3pm and go into the evening.
September is still a very sunny month so it should be warm! If you are in need of hotel to stay, if coming from out of town, I will be giving you lots to choose from that won't break the bank!! There will be a shuttle picking everyone up for the event. There is no parking available, so the shuttle is provided. The pick up will be in front of the White Art Deco Sculpture in front of Humphreys on Shelter Island. The pick ups will start promptly at 1:30, so please please don't be late!! Our reception will also be at the El Cajon Estate!Bring your dancin shoes, and empty tummy because there will be lots of food, fun and drink!!! Please also know, there is an open bar, but please be reminded that no one will be allowed to leave if you've had too much!!! Got to watch out for the ones we love!!! We are soo excited to see each and everyone of you at our special day!!!
We will be leaving for St. Lucia on the 23 of Sept. My birthday will be the next day, so I have a double celebration!! :) We will be retuning on the 6th of Oct, rested, tan, and probably 10 lbs heavier! HA Ha
We want to thank each and everyone of our Family and Friends who will spend our special day with us. We are blessed to have so many wonderful people who have touched our lives in so many ways.We are very excited to start our married life with our dream vacation to St. Lucia. Because we already have all of our home essentials, we are asking to be gifted through this Honeymoon Registry! This way, we can have the Honeymoon we truly want!
